World Prematurity Day is this Saturday, November 17, and November is Prematurity Awareness Month. Both of these observances are close to our hearts, as our son was born 9 weeks premature and that eventually prompted us to start MORE.
Without smart strategic planning, the big wins just don’t happen. Every decent coach (and content marketer) knows it’s true. You don’t make up plays on game day, and you don’t build a content plan while you’re creating content.
Yes, we realize it’s still just the beginning of fall, but for content marketers who want to start 2019 off right, with a detailed content plan that aligns with their marketing plan, it’s time to get going. Here’s a game plan we recommend…
Doing something new is difficult. And the older I get, the less I enjoy feeling incompetent. I have to force myself to accept the beginner stage, embrace failure as an essential step toward mastery and keep trying. These are some of the most difficult questions for entrepreneurs and freelancers to answer. I don’t pretend to know all the answers, but I do know the three most common mistakes I’ve made and see others make…
How is Mother’s Day already upon us?! It’s been a busy couple of months for us here at MORE, and we’ve got some BIG news to share: We recently moved our family from Phoenix to Atlanta (more on that later)! We will still be accessible to and involved in our Phoenix community, and we’re so grateful for our time there and all of the people who made it such an amazing experience.
It might sound counterintuitive, but when you own your own business, the best way to think about long-term strategies for your business is to focus on the other areas of your life. I love my job, but the reason I got into this whole entrepreneurship thing wasn’t to work 70-hour weeks — it was for more control over the work I do and for better work-life balance.
