Kai-Saun and Amber are the founders of MORE. Amber is a strategist and owner of the business strategy agency Kayson. Kai-Saun is a photographer and the owner of Kai-Saun Photography.  The two live in Phoenix, AZ and are the proud parents of a very special, and active, little boy.

Networking events are inconvenient. They’re usually in between pick-up time and dinner or during bed time. And they never include the family. For those of us who are away from our kids all day they sometimes can mean missing the only time you have together. So we opt out and miss our opportunity to connect with potential clients, vendors, partners and staff.

MORE Milk. Beer. Wine. networking events are different. They take place at family-friendly venues, are all-inclusive (meaning snacks, drinks and dinner) and, the best part is, you get to bring your family along. Welcome to The New MORE.


What is it?

Milk. Beer. Wine. is a happy hour designed to give working professionals an opportunity to meet new people, connect with old friends and network. The event is family-friendly which means kids and partners are welcome along with everyone else. 

 

Why a family-friendly happy hour?

Traditional happy hours are hard on families — especially families with young children. At Milk. Beer. Wine., you get to enjoy all of the benefits of attending a happy hour (the people, the food, the drinks, the fun, etc.) without having to leave your family behind. Your kids can hang out with you or meet new friends while playing on their own in a kid-friendly venue alongside their onsite nannies.

 

What do you do at a family-friendly happy hour?

The same thing you do at every other happy hour. Eat. Drink. Talk. Mingle. Network. We'll have nannies onsite to keep the kids occupied while you socialize. 

 

What time is the event?

The event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

 

Where are the events held?

Milk. Beer. Wine. events are held in modern, convenient and kid-friendly venues. For example, we rented out the entire Halle Heart Children's Museum in Tempe, Ariz., for our February 2017 event.

 

Will kids be there? And how old?

Yes! Kids. Women. Men. All types of humans will be there. We’ll have kid-centric programming available for the kids and nannies onsite to look after your little ones, if you choose to, while you mingle. Kids 3 months and older are welcome.

 

Do you have to have kids to attend?

Nope. Just like a traditional happy hour, the goal is to meet/mingle with smart and friendly working professionals. If you fit into both of these categories then you’re welcome to attend.

 

What if I'm single? Can I come?

Of course! Just like a traditional happy hour, all marital statuses are welcome to attend.

 

Will there actually be Milk. Beer. and Wine. there?

Yep! Milk and cookies. Beer and snacks. And Wine and cheese. We’ll have a variety of drink and food options for you to enjoy while you’re mingling.

 

What if I don’t drink?

That’s OK. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

 

What about dinner?

Healthy, hearty, food will be available at an additional cost.

 

How much is the event?

$20 per adults and $10 per child. We encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance.

Your ticket covers entry into the museum, play, onsite childcare, drinks for the entire family and a light snack. A heartier dinner will be available for purchase.

 

Do I have to buy my ticket in advance?

Yes and No! Tickets will be sold at the door while supplies last, so save yourself the heartache and buy your tickets in advance.
