Content Submission Guidelines


The MORE blog targets workings parents between the ages of 25-45 with children under 12 years old. With our content, we seek to give information that helps them get more out of life, make the most of their time and feel empowered.

MORE selectively accepts contributions that meet our editorial guidelines. We are looking for original (previously unpublished) thought-leadership, platform/vendor agnostic, 800 words (or less) articles that offer actionable tips for our readers. We also accept longer forms of content such as white papers or case studies.

Rights of Use

By submitting your article to Nous Associates, LLC. ("MORE", "We" or "Us"), the publisher of the website, you and/or your organization will be granting MORE unlimited rights of use across the Nous Associates, LLC and our partner's digital channels. If your content is accepted and published, your content will be distributed across these channels, including web, social media, RSS, email, mobile and PDF. We also retain the right to edit for clarity, tone and style.

About MORE

MORE was founded by Amber & Kai-Saun Anderson in 2015. What started as a three-day retreat for business owners with families grew into something bigger — something, well, MORE. Within the first year, MORE became a full-fledged community and movement, providing support and resources to business owners who are also parents or caregivers.

When the couple’s son was born prematurely, they knew they couldn’t return to the high-intensity corporate world if they were going to be the kind of parents and worker they wanted to be. They started their own business seeking balance — that ever-elusive concept so many of us are seeking.

They didn’t find it. So, they sought resources and support. But they couldn’t find those either.

So, they built MORE.

MORE is a multi-pronged program designed to give working parents and caregivers (especially women) more. More time, more encouragement, more support, more community, more connections, more education. It’s a place where time-starved professionals can find information on being better parents and spouses and advice for advancing their career or business. A place to talk about what’s happening in their communities and discuss the latest work-life balance podcast.

Through personalized content, family-friendly networking events, spaces that welcome children, events that acknowledge a business owner’s work and family needs, and other services, MORE helps business owners develop personally and professionally.

MORE’s first event, MORE: the retreat, was held in July 2016 at The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain in Marana, Ariz. The event welcomed attendees from Utah, Tennessee, Ohio and Arizona, and featured business sessions on strategy and marketing as well as couples sessions on relationships and family goal setting. And it was just the beginning.

In 2017, MORE will host its second retreat as well as monthly workshops, and Milk. Beer. Wine. networking events as it continues to develop content, support programs and business services for business owners who are trying to manage it all.
